Biography

Born in 1952, Bonnie studied at Winchester School of Art, gaining a B.A. with First Class honours in 1981 and a Post-Graduate Diploma in 1982.

Bonnie has won various major awards and prizes: The Laing Competition, London which awarded her a “highly commended” on her submission, an award at the Discerning Eye Exhibition, London and also first prize for the Gallery Scene Open at the Turner Gallery, Exeter. Her work is published in the book "Fifty Wessex Artists" and in numerous gallery catalogues.

She lives and works in her studio in Christchurch, Dorset, UK and continues to spend time in France. Her paintings are exhibited regularly at a number of galleries, including the Belgrave Gallery, New Ashgate Gallery, Alpha House Gallery and Artmill Gallery. She is also a frequent exhibitor at the R.W.A. and represented at Art Fairs in London and Bristol. This year, 2008, she will be exhibiting in the Broadway Gallery, Soho, New York, with a second article being published in the NYARTS magazine, the first one was in the Sept/Oct 2007 edition, and her work is currently on the magazine's website.

Her work is in Private Collections throughout England, France, Canada and America and in Public Collections at Exxon Chemicals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Collection, Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum, The Paintings in Hospitals Collection, Computer Sciences and Accenture plc.
